Madfound_logo_400The Madison Foundation is Madison’s only community foundation. The Madison Foundation, as all community foundations are the center for charitable giving in a community. They help make connections between the people who want to give and the people who need their support. Since 1996 they have raised over one million dollars for our community. This funding has provided support for community members through educational, cultural, historical and environmental programs.

Guilford’s Project Graduation Receives Community Support from Local Organization
May 25, 2016 Guilford’s Project Graduation receives gift from alumni Ruthanna Terreri, realtor, social entrepreneur and founder of new community fund called GIVE.LIVE.THRIVE.

Project Graduation started as a nationwide effort to provide graduating seniors with a fun, safe place to celebrate their last night together as high school students. It is a chaperoned all-night, drug, alcohol and smoke-free celebration.  It is a special gift to our graduates from the parents and the entire Guilford community.  The project has been hugely successful in past years, with a 90% attendance rate, providing our children a safe, yet fun environment in which to celebrate their graduation night with fellow classmates.
